How To Choose The Best Limousine

What exactly is a limousine? For many people the word “limousine” conjures up the image of an incredibly long car with lots of darktinted windows. Actually a limousine can be as simple as a nice Lincoln Town Car. There’s no standard limousine make or model instead the word refers to a vehicle that has a larger compartment in the back half of the car than your average automobile. To call a car a limousine you really just need a nice car that has a lot of leg room in the rear compartment. It also helps if you have a driver or chauffeur driving the car for you while you relax in the back.
Limousines are available in many styles sizes and uses.
Luxury Sedan One of the most popular Luxury Sedan is the Lincoln Town car series. They accommodate up to 4 passengers and is a great vehicle for business service and airport transfers.
Stretch limousine Stretch Limousines are the ultimate in style and elegance. These limousine typically accommodate up to 12 passengers and include wet bars and trendy neon lighting. You can expect plush leather seating and elegant interiors.
SuperStretch limousine Super Stretch Limousines are the extreme in chauffeured transportation. They can accommodate up to 14 passengers and include such features as privacy dividers and panels fiber optic lighting moon roof and much more. This is the vehicle to rent to travel in comfort and style.
There are a lot of limousine hire companies out there and it can be hard to know which ones are trustworthy and which ones shouldnt even be in business.
1.When first thinking of booking a limousine for your next special occasion try not to go on price alone. Low prices do not mean better service.
2.Wherever possible view the limo at the premises of the company you will be hiring from. The last thing you want is your day to be ruined because a limo company sends you an old rusty limousine.
3.Do not take the first quote offered. It is worth considering looking at several companies before committing a deposit to hire.
4.Ask friends etc to see if they can recommend a limousine hire company which they have used and know the service is good. The best recommendation is word of mouth.
5.Read carefully all the terms and conditions of each companies contracts and ensure you are totally satisfied.
6.Ask what additional extras are supplied with the limousine hire i.e. drinks snacks interior decorations birthdays etc. Especially for Weddings.
7.Ask the company about how much time you have the limousine for are there any added extras and are there any conditions that may apply but are not in print. Some companies charge extra for photos to be taken.
It can also be very time consuming trying to tell the good from the bad so I hope above mentioned short checklist can help you cull the list of limousine hire companies to find the right one for you.

How Safe Is Your Second-hand Car Purchase?

Whenever you consider buying a secondhand car one of the first things youll want to know is that your purchase is mechanically sound. It is no good having everything you want in a car; such as a luxurious interior a great MP3 player and the right colour exterior if it is a lemon when it comes to its mechanical status.

Unless you are a mechanic or have one in the family or as a close friend you will probably have to turn to the AA or RAC who both offer independent vehicle inspections for a reasonable fee. Or you could take the chance that the car is as sound as it looks and buy as seen. But dont forget the old Latin phrase caveat emptor literally translated as buyer beware that normally applies when it comes to buying second hand cars. Unless you are buying from a garage that offers a warranty purchasing a secondhand car involves a great deal of risk so do your utmost to minimise that risk and protect your investment.

Also bear in mind that legislation requires any car motorcycle or light goods vehicle over three years old to undergo an inspection known as an MOT Ministry of Transport before it can be legally driven on the roads. MOT testing is designed to check whether the car is mechanically sound to be driven on public highways at the time of testing. An MOT test normally takes around 45 minutes and if the car passes the tests a certificate that is valid for one year is issued for the vehicle. However possession of a valid MOT certificate is not a guarantee that the vehicle will not require major work in the near future.

And remember even if the secondhand car you are intending to buy is less than three years old and isnt required to have an MOT certificate it is still worth getting an independent vehicle inspection carried out. It might seem like yet another cost; an expense that you might consider unnecessary but in the long run could save you thousands. Especially as cars around two to three years old are likely to have all the original components that will need replacing over the next year or two such as brake pads suspension bars tyres clutches and the list goes on.

There are no guarantees when buying any secondhand vehicle. However ensuring that you get your vehicle inspected by an accredited mechanic or road organisation such as the RAC or AA will help allay your fears or even expose the vehicle as totally unsuitable for purchase. Can you afford to take the risk?

How Aftermarket Auto Accessories Are Changing The Automotive Industry

Back in the day the only accessories that you would be able to find were maybe some bumper stickers. Today there are all kinds of accessories for your car. You have everything from the outside of the car to the inside of the car and there are so many things that you can buy for your car. You have everything from neons being under the car to neons being under your seats in your car. You can put extra speakers in your car like subwoofers and amps. There is no limit to what you can do with your car and accessories.

You can even put logos across the back of your rear window to show love for your favorite sports team while you are tailgating. You can get one of those whole logos that take up the whole rear window but don’t take away your ability to see out of it. You just go to a car specialties shop to get whatever else you need.

Many people basically live in their cars so they already have many accessories but other people who just use their cars to go to and from work may not have a single thing to show. Some people that don’t have any accessories and have a long drive to work may like music. They should have some type of satellite radio or something shouldn’t they? Yes they should and nobody should have to go without customizing their own car.

You can put about just anything in the car you want as far as entertainment goes. You can put TVs game consoles and other things in the car. You can put DVD players in the car as well as VCRs so you can watch all of your favorite shows and movies in your car. You are not limited to what you can do with your car. You can do anything you want with your car all you need to do is buy the accessories and then start adding them to your car.

Most of the newer cars today like the ford models are coming out with satellite radios in them stock. So if you wanted something else for your car or truck you should be able to find it with ease and be able to install it as well. Many things that you can buy as accessories come with directions so that you can install your accessories yourself but on the other hand if you cannot install them yourself you can hire someone to help you.

The great thing about auto accessories in general is that you can use them anywhere as long as you are in your car and the motor is running.

Everyone would have loved to have had a TV and a DVD player in the car while their parents drove but that’s not how everyone lived. Now you can you can put anything you want into your car and you can do it now. You don’t have to wait for anyone you can just go buy your accessories for cheap and then get them installed and start using them right away.
