The car can hit 062 miles per hour in 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 200 miles per hour much faster than the V8 gas version from Audi. There is also a new wheelmounted start button that allows the priming of the ignition on an initial press. The second press starts the V12. The engine is not as loud as many might expect. This best car lease deal lets out a metallic buzz more than a soaring scream as the rev increases. Response however is not an issue.
The Audi R8 V12 TDI will go on sale perhaps in 2010 and there is the very real chance that it will be limited in stock. However this is the worlds first dieselpowered super car and there will definitely be no shortage when it comes to getting behind the wheel and fulfilling ones need for speed.
